Rules for Grottoes Volunteer Fire Department
5th Annual Summer Bash Raffle 2009

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!
2.NEED NOT BE PRESENT TO WIN!!
3.One number per ticket, with only 2,500 tickets sold.
4.Any unsold tickets become property of Grottoes Volunteer Fire Department (GVFD)
5.State taxes, transfers, and registrations are to be paid by the winner.
6.Some prizes may require payment of Federal taxes before receipt of the prize. Payment will be responsibility of the winner.
7.Neither the GVFD nor any other person, organization, or business sponsoring or participating in the raffle assumes the liability for any claims for injury or other damages arising from the possession of any firearm nor motorized vehicle obtained through this ticket, the holder acknowledges that limitation on liability by the Acceptance of this ticket.
8.Winners will be notified by phone, e-mail, and all winners will be posted on the Web site www.grottoesfire.homestead.com.
9.All firearms and motorized vehicle prizes will be subject to all State and Federal registration guidelines. Those winners not meeting these guidelines will be reimbursed the $25 ticket fee for the winning ticket. All prizes must be picked up from the proper sponsoring business. Any prize not awarded due to failure to meet required guidelines will become property of the GVFD.
10.You must be 18 years of age to purchase a ticket.
11.Identification will be required before the prize will be awarded.
12.Drawing is subject to the sale of 1500 tickets of the 2,500 being sold.
13.If for some reason the drawing is not held, all monies will be returned to the ticket holders at the address given on the ticket stub.
14.Drawing will be held on the Saturday of GVFD Annual Lawn Party on August 1, 2009 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Grottoes Town Park.
15.There will be a $50.00 fee on all returned checks.
16.All decisions of the GVFD Board of Directors are deemed final.
17.Food and Beverage will be available the day of the drawing for an extra fee.
18.No ATV’s, pets (exception working animals), or alcohol allowed on premises.
19.All prizes must be claimed within 30 days or prizes become property of GVFD.
20.Prizes may not be exchanged for cash or any other prizes.
21.Each ticket may win more than once.
